December Recap.

December was full speed ahead!

Our elf Sam came December 1 and did some goofy stuff during the month...when he remembered!

We headed to the Tucson Village Farm right down the street from us to pick kale and sample their awesome winter squash soup and kale chips. I tried my hand at kale chips when we got home, and failed miserably! We'll have to head back for another try!

The boys met Santa!! Jo has been yelling "SANTA!!" whenever he sees somebody or something that slightly resembles the bearded man! It can be slightly embarrassing...
My friend Blakelee and I took our boys to a Santa where you can take your own pictures for free. As a result, this is the best we got this year! Oh well!

We caught the first La Encantada "snowfall" by accident again this year! The boys loved the soap snow.

We made a gingerbread house with Nana Ne that turned out so cute, and got eaten the next day.

Ro decided he is a big boy who can make his own peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Jo decided to look like a teenager after a much needed hair cut!

Mommy and Daddy got to go on a fun date to a U of A basketball game. Mommy got a little rowdy....

We visited the Grinch at the mall, but the line to give him a hug was too long for us. This picture was the best we got! These brothers love one another so much!

Danny and I caught sight of this in the butterfly classroom one morning. Ro is the tallest in his class and a good 6 inches taller than some of the little sweetie girls.

Ro decided he is a makeup artist and this is the result...

Ro gave his teachers little Christmas trees as a gift for Christmas. We added these ornaments and Ro let me know what he wanted to write. I thought this one was so cute:

The best part of December so far has been having Daddy around. We love that he is around 24/7 about 90% of the time. :) That not enjoyable 10% of the time is when mommy is used to doing things her way, and an extra parent around just gets in the way! LOL!

November Recap.

November is full holiday mode for us! We recovered from Halloween, starting welcoming and visiting family into town, had an awesome Thanksgiving and starting preparing for Christmas. I love November. The Christmas Spirit is starting to fill the air and the anticipation keeps me going day after day!

The boys and I did a lot of playing. We so wished daddy could have played more with us, but he was in the depths of 20 page papers, essay tests, and comprehension tests. He did awesome at all of it by the way!

Peek - a - boo blocks.

Fall leaves.

Jonah loves playing with his little buddy Bron.

We loved decorating for Christmas this year! The minute we put our decorations up, Rowan starting asking when Santa was coming....that didn't stop until Christmas day!

We did lots of walks and adventures outside.

The day before Thanksgiving, we went up to Phoenix to play and eat with both my sisters and some of Kevin's family. Judy is so creative and had the kids make a fruit turkey. It was really cute!

Thanksgiving was a little different this year. I ended up having my Dad, Jess and the boys to our house on Thanksgiving day for dinner. It was my first Thanksgiving meal cooking experience and even though my Dad cooked the turkey, it was still a challenge! I'm proud to say I kept my cool the whole day!

The day after Thanksgiving we had the Lams over to our house for a little pizza and Christmas movie action. We played this funny flour game that the kids loved, but the adults weren't too fond of. It might have had something to do with me shoving Quint's face in a pile of flour...oops!

Rowan's sweet friend Molly had a birthday, so Ro brought her flowers he picked out. Molly is so sweet and always so kind to Rowan even when he acts like a crazy, loud, rough boy! We love her.

xoxoxo
Onto December...
