Rowan is 3!

We had a blast celebrating Rowan turning 3. I love planning parties, and making them special for my babies. I get to exercise my creative muscles that get neglected too often now a days. Sometimes I get a little worked up when it comes to executing my ideas, and that has spoiled the celebration for me in the past. This time I told myself that I could do all the crazy ideas I wanted and make all the crafts I wanted, but if I got too worked up it wasn't worth it and for the next party I would have to do something really simple. I can proudly say that I kept my cool, and had no melt downs! I was really proud of myself and as a result will continue to allow myself to throw parties. Haha!

Rowan chose a spiderman theme, so we ran with that. I had a fun time finding party ideas on Pinterest. I really wanted him to LOVE it and have a great time. Seeing his eyes light up makes it all worth it to me! Unfortunately he was a tad under the weather or tired or something and was a little lethargic the whole time. Despite that, he still had that special birthday twinkle in his eye. He knew it was his special "birthday Saturday day".

(I have no idea where Danny was for all of these pictures! Oops. Daddy was there Rowan, I promise!)

We LOVE you birthday boy. You rock!!!

Pima County Fair.

We are so glad we made the trek out to the Pima County Fair this year. Rowan talked about it for days afterwards. He LOVES rides, the scarier the better. I think we went on every single kid ride they had and he was even a bit disappointed when we said no to the ferris wheel...that one freaks mom and dad out a bit! The only casualty of the night was Rowan's hat which somehow fell in the fair potty. Ask Daddy how that one happened...haha! Jonah flirted with EVERY woman he saw. Those baby blues seem to lure them in. I often hear high pitched Spanish directed towards Jonah, "Ooohh dios mio, sus ojos!"...or something like that!
The hits of the fair were the motorcycles, dragon roller coaster, and flying bees.

We ate a TON, of course: stir fry, corn dogs, lemonade, fried oreos...

We can't wait to go back next year!!

Easter 2013.

What a fun Easter we had! We love having more family to spend the holidays with since moving back to Tucson.
The boys woke up to Easter baskets (a big hit) and had a mini egg hunt on our patio.
After awesome Church meetings, we headed over to Quint and Amy's for a cousin egg hunt.
After that, we headed to Nana and Poppa Lamoreaux's condo for an Easter dinner. We love that they have a part time house here now!

Pictures to tell the story:
