We decided to do a little stay-cation this year for Spring break and headed up to Phoenix for a couple of days. I almost backed out because we were still dealing with sickness tantrums and we were in the middle of potty training Ro, but it all worked out! Elmo potty came with us and Ro was such a good, flexible boy. Yay ROWEY!!
We went to this awesome train park in Scottsdale; aka little and big man heaven! The boys had a blast and did not want to leave.
We met up with our friends Rob and Shelly who we have been wanting to see for a long time! After a slightly ominous start to our Cafe Rio dinner (imagine a screaming, over tired toddler), we had a great great great time. Rowan, Carson and Jonah became fast friends smashing each others heads in newspaper bins, driving cars up and down pillars, screaming with joy, running, laughing, you know all the usual boy stuff!! Ha! The boys are gonna be great friends!

We also got to go to the zoo with my sister and brother in law! We love them so much and delight in ANY time we get with them. The zoo was hot but fun. At one point I ran through the children's splash pad like a maniac and felt so much better!! Ro had a blast and Jonah was such a trooper! He is the best baby to travel with.

It was the perfect little get a way. Just long enough to make us miss daily life!
